laurengoethals:

I think that sam claflin would do great as marco alisdair from the nightcircus
I’m not sure who to pick for celia…(emily browning maybe?) Any suggestions?
It’s a really great book, and there are rumors that tim burton is going to direct the movie

Pick Jessica Brown-Findlay (seriously she is beautiful and perfect)

see?

GUESS WHAT?!?!

Erin Morgenstern has joined Tumblr!!  I am overly excited by this fact!  And now I really want to make Night Circus edits since she might actually see them!

This is so exciting!

Well now I’m regretting making my Night Circus blog a secondary one. :(

I love the fanart movie posters for The Night Circus because they are so lovely and I wish I was better at graphics stuff. But they also bother me a little because Jessica Brown Findlay is Celia in my head, no one else will do.

I’m now officially a rêveur in the (unfortunately) nonexistent Night Circus fandom

Seriously, that book needs more love. I wish there was a fandom

Also there’s going to be a movie version. Hopefully there’ll be more people who fall in love with it then…?

Have us Rêveurs become so spread out that we cannot find each other? Pity…

We’ll all find each other in time.

I thought for sure there would be more… Guess the few of us there are should band together

Some thoughts

So I loved the book The Night Circus, it was so beautifully written and a lovely story. Although I would love to see it on screen I am not sure it would make a good movie. I feel like a bit of the magic would be lost in it’s translation to the screen and parts that make perfect sense while reading it could easily be seen as something confusing or odd on screen. It example that comes to my mind is the part where Bailey is opening the different bottles and experiencing the stories in it, it’s a beautiful part of the book but I would be afraid as it would come off somewhat druggy and odd (like the part of Moulin Rouge with the green fairy).

This isn’t to say I don’t want it to be a movie ever, if it’s done though I want it beautifully and perfectly done.

The Night Circus dream cast: Jessica Brown Findlay as Celia Bowen
